Editorial method: facts, signals and financial questions
Separate evidence types and preserve sources, counterevidence and applicability.
Separate evidence semantics
AnalysisSections distinguish actual, forecast, assumption, hypothesis and analysis. Forecasts are not observed facts. Analysis does not guarantee business outcomes. Actual and forecast sections must cite registered sources.
Preserve independent dates
AnalysisIssue date, source cutoff, source release or revision and publication time are separate. Corrections create immutable new editions. Withdrawals retain reasons and enter the change stream.
Connect changes to CFO questions
AnalysisExplain the baseline, industrial mechanism, operating exposure, potential financial variable, conditions and next observation. Without evidence for the baseline or mechanism, keep a lead explicitly provisional.
Respect private inputs and source rights
AnalysisPublic packages do not receive enterprise ledgers, contracts or budgets. Readable material is not automatically licensed for commercial redistribution. Pending source rights block publication.
